Logo Redesign
The primary goals for Blue World’s updated identity were to solidify their stance as a modern
company in the software/marketing world and for it to be scalable to other business ventures under the Blue World banner.
With these points in mind, I was given carte blanche to do with Blue World’s new identity as I saw fit. Taking inspiration from the brutalist architecture found around the company’s offices in Manhattan’s Financial District, I emphasized rigid angles, combinations of the initials in the company’s name (turn it 90 degrees to the right and you’ll see the W distinguish itself from the right-side up B), and deliberately jarring shades of blue and green. During my ideations, I only vaguely alluding to the older globe logo and eventually began adhering to a more futurist-leaning logotype style.

Proprietary Software Logos
Once I nailed down a final design for Blue World’s new logo, I rolled out logo redesigns for each of Blue World’s pieces of proprietary software. Each logo corresponded with the software’s name and adhered to the design conventions I established for the main logo.

Website Design (2014)
Prior to this website, Blue World didn’t have a dedicated website for promoting the company. Shortly after redesigning their logo, the same force us into the 21st century
mentality was then applied to their new website as well.
When I first got hired by Blue World in 2014, parallax websites were all the rage, so that was the direction for the site's design and construction.

Website Redesign (2021)
Late in 2020 (with the trend of parallax websites now deader than dead), I was commissioned to do a complete overhaul of Blue World’s web presence since their business expanded beyond what they were doing in 2014, and the website needed to reflect that growth.
At the same time that I was working with Blue World on their new website, I was doing a JavaScript exercise to figure out how Stripe built their website’s swirling psychedelic background. This helped influence the design direction of the website, while also helping me pre-plan the front-end and make sure the visual direction remained contemporary.

Print Materials
Despite being a software company that goes paperless as much as possible, Blue World still has branded print materials they need to deploy for more old school clients. These are some of those designs.
