Website

USConnect is a collective of independent foodservice and convenience companies that operate across North America.

The USConnectMe software system was designed and developed to enable USC’s client companies to enjoy benefits that follow them at any of their thousands of points of sale across multiple countries. To coincide with the international expansion of the USConnectMe system, all subsequent internal design systems received top-to-bottom reskins based upon the country expansion (part of a later program named GlobalConnect). The USConnectMe system was primarily tailored for smartbook and tablet experiences, per user feedback and client specifications.

Process & User Map

Because the system that USConnect wanted us to build was so complex, it was important to map it all out before even attempting to design anything. Over the course of several ideation sessions, the primary USConnectMe system below was stitched together and polished from numerous whiteboard scribbles, fast food napkins, and hundreds of post-it notes.

Layout Examples

Once the user map became more cemented over time, I began fleshing out a design system right alongside it. I made sure to branch out into something that wouldn’t be as conservative as USConnect’s overall branding, but would still be clearly identifiable across their expansions into CAConnect and GlobalConnect as well.

Signup Website

The USConnectMe signup site I designed and built exists within the pre-existing USConnect branding. It details what the USCMe system does, how it benefits its customers, and provides examples of the deals it supports.
